A family business, The Twisted Tandoor began as a food truck traveling the city to bring authentic Indian cuisine to local Tucsonans, something that the town was in short supply of.
With many customers leaving with a smile on their faces and loyal customers returning time and time again for our popular Chicken Tikka Masala the food truck was a huge success. For those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to try delicious, authentic Indian food here in Tucson, fear not — The Twisted Tandoor is pleased to announce that we will be joining forces with Josh and Aric Mussman of JAM Culinary Concepts in our new restaurant endeavor.
The Mussman brothers are the owners of several local Tucson establishments, Vero Amore, Noble Hops and The Still, as well as the recently opened Tinwell, in Salt Lake City. For the past year and a half, The Twisted Tandoor has been working with the JAM family at their Vero Amore location on Swan Rd., offering “Indian Pizza Night,” which proved to be a great success. Since the beginning of our collaboration with Vero Amore we have intended to partner with the Mussman brothers in finding a brick and mortar for The Twisted Tandoor, as well as to get the food truck up and running again for catering and private events.

Quesadilla – Spinach, spices and 3-blend Italian cheese.
Chicken Quesadilla – Tandoori chicken, spices, 3-blend Italian cheese.
Kathi Roll – Chicken or Paneer sautéed in onions and tomatoes and wrapped in an egg layered tortilla.
Chick Pea Salad – Chickpeas, red onion, tomato, English cucumber, hearts of romaine (opt.), cilantro, house dressing.
Chicken Salad – Tandoori chicken, hearts of romaine, red onion, English cucumber, cilantro, house dressing.
Watermelon Salad – Watermelon, red onion, tamarind dressing.
Tandoori Chicken – Chicken thighs marinated overnight in a yoghurt-based marinade and grilled.
Chapli Kebab – Ground beef patties with mint, cilantro, onions, spices
Chicken Tikka Masala – Grilled chicken simmered in a tomato cream sauce.
Saag Meat – Lamb or chicken with spinach.
Chicken Korma – Chicken simmered in a yoghurt based sauce.
Curried Coconut Chicken – Chicken thighs, coconut milk, curry leaves, spices.
Pork Vindaloo – Pork stewed in spices, vinegar and tamarind.
Lamb Roghan Josh – Lamb shanks stewed in Kashmiri spices.
Kofta Curry – Beef meatballs stewed in a spicy curry.
